HR Supervisor
Job summary
The HR Supervisor co-ordinates a wide range of human resource functions including recruiting, interviewing, and hiring personnel, administering performance appraisals and corrective actions, and ensuring Company personnel are well informed of all policies, procedures and programs. Oversees the human resource information system, maintains and updates employee records (physical & electronic), completes assigned tax, insurance, and benefits reporting requirements, and ensures that Company records and reporting are in compliance with Government regulations. Updates job descriptions and assists with salary administration processes. Provides assistance to area personnel on training programs, benefits management, and other human resource concerns
Summary of essential job functions
Assumes responsibility for effectively completing assigned human resource functions
- Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring Company personnel
- Recruitment via job postings, network contacts and affiliations with educational institutions
- Ensures all hiring processes are effective and legally compliant
- Counsels managers on supervisory concerns including corrective actions and performance appraisals
- Monitors the performance appraisal program and makes adjustments as necessary Conducts new employee orientations, and ensures personnel are well informed of human resource policies and programs
- Coordinates the updating of job descriptions. Receives and reviews job descriptions from department managers. Ensures information is complete and current
- Administers benefits programs & communicates related information to employees
- Reviews completed documents for accuracy and adherence to guidelines
- Assists in developing and implementing h! uman resource operations plans, policies, procedures, and goals. Recommends improvements as appropriate
Assumes responsibility for the accurate, complete, and timely preparation of records, reports, and other documents
- Maintains and updates master & employee files
- Ensures employee files are complete and in compliance with Company policies and legal regulations.
- Ensures all payroll records including time records, sick leave, annual leave, lateness, insurance and tax forms are properly maintained and preserved
- Submits information to financial administration personnel within 2 days of end of payroll period
- Ensures employment and enrollment forms including NPWPs, insurance, and benefits documents are current and complete
- Ensures all human resource records are maintained in accordance with established Company policies and government regulations
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with personnel and management
- Ensures employees are informed of programs and policies
- Resolves employee requests, complaints, and problems courteously and promptly
- Counsels employees and managers concerning job-related matters
- Administers the development and delivery of training needs assessment & programs in conjunction with line managers
- Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant concerns
- Completes required reports accurately and promptly
Minimum requirements
- Bachelors Degree
- At least 3 year experience in human resources
Abilities required
- Strong orientation towards data integrity and security, quality control, and superb attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret HR documents and terminology
- Ability to define and solve practical problems, collect data, establish facts and present valid conclusions for management considera
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proven experience applying these skills
- Must be flexible and able to work effectively in a fast paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve outstanding issues quickly and accurately
- Must keep high level of confidentiality
- Project management skills a plus
- Excellent english oral and written
