HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER

We are a multinational manufacturing company located in Batam and we seek a highly motivated and dedicated professional to join us as Human Resource Manager.

Reporting to the senior management, you will lead the human resource department of the company to achieve the organisation's human resource goals and objectives. You will contribute as a strategic business partner and provides guidance and direction on a variety of human resource topics to both managers and employees.

The key responsibilities of this position include the following :

You will be responsible to ensure information in the human resource system and payroll system is accurate, timely and updated. You will ensure payroll to employees is paid on time, accurately and in accordance to prevailing company polices and governmental laws and regulations .

You will manage and ensure a harmonious employer and employee relation is maintained at all times throughout the company. This includes addressing employees' grievances in a timely manner and in accordance to the company's policies as well as providing information and proper guidance on employee and industrial relations matters to employees committee.

You will also provide support and be an effective channel of communication between management and employees as well as between the company and external parties such as government agencies.

You will be responsible to perform compensation and benefits analysis and manage the company's performance appraisal process.

You will be responsible for the entire recruitment and selection process and ensure that the manpower needs of the company are effectively met. This also includes the assessment and selection of talents for the company as part of the company's talent management initiative.

You will be responsible to conduct annual training needs analysis as well as implement appropriate training programmes to develop and enhance the skill sets of employees.

You will provide support to the company's safety and health committee to raise safety awareness and standards within the company.

You will be responsible for the overall security system of the company including investigation and proper documentation for disciplinary committee's review in the event of any employee's breach of security.

The requirements for this position are :

• Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or equivalent professional qualification.

• Minimum 8 to 10 years experience in a HR management role in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong working knowledge of full spectrum of HR functions.

• Well versed in Indonesian employment laws and regulations as well as payroll regulations and employment taxation laws.

• Excellent interpersonal and cross cultural communication skills

• Team player with good facilitation skills, strategic change management and intervention capabilities.

• Independent, resourceful and possess good leadership skills.

• Able to maintain high level of confidentiality pertaining to sensitive employee issues.
