Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist creates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce .

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all or part of these areas: recruiting, organizational and space planning, performance management and improvement systems; organization development, employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting, employee orientation, development, and training;
  • Interview job applicants; review application/resume; evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications.
  • Develop and maintain relationship with employment agencies, universities and other recruitment sources
  • Prepare and maintain, job documentation, and job evaluation systems.
  • Design and conduct new employee orientati! ons.
  • Recommend, develop and schedule training and development courses.
  • Recommend, develop and maintain human resource data bases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems.
  • Develop and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements
  • Develop and update tracking systems necessary in daily operation
  • Perform specific research/investigation into operational issues, as requested
  • Provide on-the-job training to new employees
  • Responds to public inquiries on positions available in employment
  • Log and expedite complaints and assign to appropriate person; completing a Complaint Report monthly for Council's review
  • Personal ongoing development to maintain the knowledge and skills necessary to complete the job
  • Maintains and updates contact information to support communication with all necessary points of contact
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree (S1) in Psychology, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources Management or Law
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience
  • Posses excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player and self starter with strong initiative and drive
  • Strong English fluency, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines. Knowledge of federal and state employment and benefit laws. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.
  • Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
