ST. Joseph International School is set up to provide an internationally recognized education in Indonesia so that children can be benefit from a good education and a loving family environment.

 

Currently we are looking for this following position:

RECEPTIONIST

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Indonesian citizen;

  2. University/College graduate, preferably from Secretarial college degree;

  3. Minimum 2 years experience in a receptionist role preferably with school working experience

  4. Excellent written and spoken English great interpersonal skills;

  5. Knowledge of office procedures, practices and equipment, including filling systems, receptionist and telephone techniques, letter and report writing, and office machines;

  6. Good management and organizational skills;

  7. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Words and Excel; (60 wpm minimum)

  8. Friendly, tactful, courteous personality

  9. Excellent communication skills

  10. Self-directed; able to function independently.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Performs a wide variety of secretarial duties for SJIS .

  2. Greets visitors and answers the telephone; in a highly appropriate manners.

  3. Provides pleasant, efficient welcome to all new families and visitors;

  4. Learns, interprets, and applies pertinent SJIS and school policies, rules and regulations and applies them with good judgment in a variety of situations;

  5. Establishes and maintains cooperative, positive relationships with those involved in the course of work;

  6. Maintains a log book where visitors sign in and out and dispenses and

  7. Collects and reports their visit purposes.

  8. Takes messages for faculty and staff and arranges to have them delivered to the appropriate people as expeditiously as possible;

  9. Remains up to date on all school activities in order to be able to give accurate information to those requesting it;

  10. Maintains the receptionist area in a neat and orderly manner.

  11. Display daily bulletin and any other appropriate communications for dissemination; and discard the un-updated.

  12. Maintains daily attendance for students; Prints attendance reports.

  13. Helping the children by calling the parent to ask their permission for any arrangement.

  14. Keep tracking of student files and inform the Principal/Deputy Principal for any changes.

  15. Keep updating the bus and student list.

  16. Helping to collect & distribute everything that go to parent or to teacher. (e.g. parent ID badges, donation, yearbook, etc.)

  17. Performs any other work that may be assigned by the Administrator/Principal.
